  • Friendly Match - Private Duel not working - error - unable to send request for match

    So I'm been trying without success to do a Friendly match with several of my friends. Every time we run into the same issue.
    I cannot successfully request a match.
    I also cannot successfully accept a match requested of me.

    Scenario 1:
    - Duels -> Friendly match -> Private
    - find friend, click "request match"
    - ERROR: "Unable to send request for match."

    Scenario 2
    - Duels -> Friendly match -> Private
    - Friend sends me a match request
    - I see the notification in my chat window, i click accept
    - ERROR: "Failed to find an opponent.(40002000)"

    pretty frustrating to not be able to battle against friends

    Thank you for the report and thanks for the 2 scenarios! Those two actually answer my follow-up questions xD

      A few of my coworkers and I are testing this and it seems that after clearing our cache, it seems to help. I'm on iOS so I double click the home button and swipe-close the app. My co-worker did the same for Android. We have not tested clearing a cache from the phone menu, we just closed the background app. I hope that makes sense.

      We're still investigating this issue, though. The above fix might not work for everyone.

        Unfortunately I have tried several times to use the swipe-close "workaround" and also manually deleting the cache from the Android Application settings menu. After then restarting the game from scratch, I still run into the exact same error scenarios described above.

        Worth noting that last weekend I was able to do a couple Duels, where it was actually successful. The issues seems to happen 80% of the time, and I'm not sure what the factors at play are... Haven't been able to isolate anything interesting/useful.

          Thanks for the update, I'm sorry you're still having problems...This issue will stay on the known issues list until it's addressed/fixed.
